24 - British Attack at Cainhoy

Marching from Haddrell’s Point, the British reached Cainhoy ((Tavern) to surprise the Patriot’s post, then commanded by Lt. Col. Screven. There was a brief skirmish, but afterwards, the Patriots continued to be in control. The British had four wounded; the Patriots had one wounded.
